Just an FYI everyone - this meeting is closely enough related to the objectives of Fair Vote Canada that the moderators may allow me to invite you on this list :)

Leadnow has made electoral reform a key goal. From the previous Leadnow email, it appears that they have two long term strategic campaigns in mind: 1) To pressure 13 Conservative MPs to become independents and 2) Cooperate for Canada. There will be lots for everyone with different ideas to do if we are going to get our democracy back on track and create a different outcome in 2015. Please do join us to add your voice to the discussion on Wednesday if you can.

                              With Parliament on break until September, this summer is the perfect moment to get together, sit back, and think about the big picture. Let’s get ready.

                              To reclaim and renew our democracy, we must keep working to hold this government accountable, and we need to take the time to prepare a game-changing movement that can build through the 2015 federal election to make our democracy work better for all Canadians.

                              That’s why people from across the country are hosting Summer Gatherings to connect pro-democracy Canadians in our communities, share our stories, and host a conversation about building the pro-democracy movement Canada urgently needs now. Over 30 gatherings have been signed up already, and we’d love for you to join us.

                              Together, we’ll kick-off a national conversation this fall about Canada’s democratic crisis and create a long-term campaign for major improvements to our democracy, with a focus on achieving electoral reform.

                              For this campaign to work, we need to bring Canadians together, and we need your help to do it. Are you in?
