Contacting this festival was on my "to do" list. However, I have not had
time to contact them because most of my department has been on holidays the
last two weeks at Sunnyside and I have been doing the work of 3-4 people
everyday the last two weeks. I think we should go ahead and pay the $60 to
register for the event since I firmly believe there is value in every person
we reach. Unfortunately, I am away that weekend and not available to help.

This is a largish rock concert. Lots of youth attend. They say the
attendance is 10 000 people.
The concert is Saturday August 18. (The LINK thing is August
19, so there is no conflict there.)
I did get in touch with these folks tonight. They can give us a
booth for $60. Unfortunately they need to know whether we are confirmed by
tomorrow!
I think I may have stepped on Angela's toes by contacting them.
Did you already make some kind of arrangements with these folks, Angela?
(Or maybe the Cambridge group will be there? Judging from the vendor
co-ordinator's response I think that is not the case.)
Assuming $60: Yea or nay? I vote yea, but we all know how much I
love spending FVC money.
