[fvc-wat-disc] Looking for Volunteers

Hi everyone! Looks like winter is here for a while longer, eh!

I have booked a booth for our local Fair Vote group at the annual Multicultural
Festival on Sunday June 27 in Victoria Park. The booth is from 12 PM - 9 PM. If
you've never been, the festival is a wonderful opportunity for community groups
to interact with the public as the festival attracts thousands of visitors. As
well as multicultural food and entertainment, many local community agencies,
from Big Brothers to Family and Children's Services to the Green Party are
there. I am hoping some of you may be interested in volunteering a couple of
hours (or whatever you can manage) at the Fair Vote booth! It basically
involves sitting at the booth and chatting with visitors to the booth about
Fair Vote. We will likely have the Declaration of Voter's rights and other Fair
Vote literature on the table.

The festival is Saturday and Sunday but to date I have just requested Sunday for
us as we don't have enough volunteers to have a booth both days. I'm also doing
another booth so I can't be two places at once. If lots of you want to
volunteer, we can sign up for two days!!!

Keeping my fingers crossed that I hear from Fair Voters in KW on this one!!!
