[fvc-wat-disc] fvc-wat-disc Digest, Vol 46, Issue 4

Hi Eleanor and Bob.

Eleanor: The main events on Saturday are at Ryerson. The Friday night event
with Jim Harris is at the Eggspectation Restaurant (address on Evenbrite).

I'm wondering if there's enough people interested to rent an 10 person van
for the Saturday. I am going to ask Wayne to advertise this to all our
contacts in KW and Guelph.

http://www.jamiesonrentals.com/vehicle_rentals.php?cat=van

For about $150 including insurance we can have a ten seat van for the day.
250 km free so that just covers the distance. That would be about $15 per
person. Then there would be gas. Fair Vote Waterloo could offer to subsidize
part of the gas if ten people who weren't already planning to go would go if
there was a van. Say everybody chips in $5 for gas. We'd need somebody to
drive the van. I can't be in the van because I have to be there all day
Sunday, too, for the board-meeting-that-never-ends.

I'm just thinking we would have nothing to lose by putting this offer out to
the local lists. There are lots of people who like to attend our local
events but don't want to drive in Toronto.

Anita

Hi Eleanor: There's a list of events and times at

That page also gives the venue address. I expect all events take place
there:

Hope this helps!
