Hi everyone.

The past two years we've seen what seems like an ongoing stream of rallies and protests about various issues (prorogation, robocalls, environment, Fair Elections Act, environment) etc. We've all been working hard to get the message out there that the root of these problems is our winner-take-all electoral system, and the message is starting to resonate as we build allies. It's been great to see the growth of our teams - I think we are up to 33 now, with one now active in PEI and another starting in BC mid-island - and to get the pictures coming in of supporters at events and rallies holding our banner.

But I'd like to increase that a lot - to have a public presence (so when somebody takes a picture, we're in it!) and collect Declaration signers at as many of these rallies as possible.

I'm going to send out an email inviting people to get banners and literature from us. Banners ordered online are now affordable enough that we can send one to anyone who is willing to make the effort to go to events with it between now and 2015. And of course we can send tabloids to anyone with an event to distribute them at.

I know going to rallies and public events is not everyone's cup of tea - teams and volunteers have to choose what they are interested in doing. But if you are in a team, or not, and think you might hit some events, and would like a banner, please let me know. We never know when the next "emergency" action will hit and we want to be ready.
