Subject: [fvc-wat-disc] Meeting with Raj Saini on Oct. 20th

Hello FairVoters, 

On Friday, October 20th at 3 pm we will meet with Raj Saini MP for Kitchener Centre to present to him a petition in support of proportional representation.  The meeting will take place at his office (209 Frederick at Lancaster) and everyone is welcome to attend!

We attended 11 community festivals this summer and spoke with hundreds of our neighbours in Waterloo Region.  We collected 490 signatures on our petition!  A huge thank you to the many volunteers who stood at our table to talk about electoral reform and who signed up almost 500 people! 

Here is our ask; could you find 10 more people to sign our petition and make it an even 500 signatures? Take the petition to your book club, place of worship or canvass your neighbourhood.  Hitting the 500 mark is an important threshold which sends the message to our government that we haven't forgotten the promise to make every vote count and we still expect them to keep their commitment to electoral reform.
