Hi Stu,

I agree.  Cdn. prime ministers make appointments to a number offices,
boards etc... it is a flaw in our system.  The appointments could be better
made by a non-partisan committee or independent board, there are several
alternatives that could be considered which would strengthen independence
and improve trust in our government agencies.
