Very sorry to miss tomorrow’s meeting and AGM.
Barb and I signed up for the chorus in the opening concert of the Elora Festival.
There are only a few rehearsals and tomorrow is the first.
I support the idea of a panel discussion including people like Bob Hepburn.

Hi Bob Jonkman,
My intention is to attend the AGM and take out a membership (although I have been on the e-mail list for years).
A suggestion for a new agenda item may be to begin a campaign for electoral reform at the Municipal elections in October. My understanding is that the former Provincial government passed legislation, enabling this to happen, but to my knowledge (and this is from second hand sources, only City Cambridge and the City of London has taken advantage of this opportunity.
I am told only 30% of our population vote at Municipal elections.

Hi all: Quick reminder of tomorrow's Annual General Meeting and
Discussion Night.  You can review the agenda at:

http://www.fairvotewrc.ca/fairvotewrc-annual-general-meeting-and-discussion-night/

The New Business section has been updated with the following items:

* Festival Season!

* Should we initiate a provincial petition similar to our federal
petitions for our regional MPPs?

* Should begin a door to door canvass about electoral reform?

* Possible Fall Event: Panel discussion with Denis Pilon, Bob Hepburn
(who wrote Ontario politicians should stay clear of electoral reform),
and Mitch Potter (who wrote Will Ontario’s vote results open the door to
electoral reform?).

If you want to add any other items under New Business please let me know
by tommorrow at noon.

See you all tomorrow!
