Many of Ontario’s leading universities and colleges are part of a
pro-business lobby group called the Ontario Chamber of Commerce that's
calling for an end to domestic and sexual abuse leave for workers. You can

The law they want to repeal includes expanded vacation pay, sick leave, and
a higher minimum wage for workers.

It also includes expanded protections for domestic and sexual abuse
victims.

An individual who is experiencing domestic or sexual violence now gets paid
time off work. It gives them time to protect their kids and seek safety
without the fear of losing their job.

*But Ontario’s Chamber of Commerce is calling for a full repeal on the
bill, including domestic and sexual abuse leave. *

Universities like University of Toronto, Ryerson and York are members of
the Ontario Chamber of Commerce. Read our story to see which universities
