Hi Paul,

That is true.  A number of us worked on the referendum campaign and yes, it
won with a greater number of the electorate in favour of moving to a ranked
ballot than voted for the current mayor.

The City Clerk isn't happy because it means more work but that is
democracy.  We are closely watching the political situation evolve.
