[fvc-wat-disc] Mary Simon breaks historic milestone as first Indigenous Governor General of Canada

Hello R.D.K.,

I have pondered your note for awhile as I find it troubling. Ms. Simon is
Inuk and is accepted as such by her people. Her service with the Inuit
dates back to the 1970s. Her credentials in public service are long and
very impressive. I do not see how your assessment of her identity is useful
in critiquing her appointment.
