[fvc-wat-disc] Sad News

Hi. My stepdaughter works at GRH Foundation, and so I asked if we can
individually donate under an organization's umbrella.

"You can donate under a group name and you can specify any department."
"I think online you would put the group name under "organization." If it's
at the Funeral Home you would just leave that name and if it was by cheque,
just send a little note."
So I tested it out for the online portion, and you can pick Cancer Care
Greatest Needs and pick the amount of your choice (weirdly starts with 1.00
but then the next page you can pick and then remove the 1.00 if you want.)
There is a place for special instructions and be sure to put something
like, "donating as an individual, supporter of Fair Vote Canada--Waterloo
Region, receipt to individual" because if you have an organization in the
particulars later on, the donation receipt will go to FVC-WR--who can't use
it for anything. Same I suppose with the note with the cheque.

So if we want to go with GRH we can do that. I don't have a stepdaughter
at House of Friendship so I don't know if they can do something similar or
not.

No other Western democratic country concentrates as much political power in
the hands of one person as Canada does with her Prime Minister.
