Hi everyone! Just letting you have a peek at what Paul and I are working on right now. We'd love to hear any feedback you have! We're putting together a presentation board (3' H x 4' W) for the Global Citizenship Conference at Wilfrid Laurier University. We'll be having a booth there this coming weekend.

That reminds me - if anyone is interested in helping occupy the booth for the weekend, we'd certainly appreciate it! We think we can reach a lot of people with this booth, and the more people we have to help us out the better!

<br><br>Anyhow, the prices for printouts and related things at Kinkos are as follows:<br><br>Large format | Colour: $9.99 / sq. foot | B+W: $0.99 / sq. foot<br>11" x 17" | Colour: $1.58 | B+W: $0.20 (this is about 

1.3 sq. feet - much cheaper) 8.5" x 14" | Colour: $0.79 | B+W: $0.10 8.5" x 11" | Colour: $0.79 | B+W: $0.10 So it would be considerably cheaper to slice up our design and print off the parts one at a time in one of the three smaller formats. By the way, the maximum size for a large format printout would be 2 inches larger (36" x 50") than we'd need.

<br><br>Business Cards come 10 per sheet. The cost for printing per sheet is $1.49, but they charge $1 per "cut" that they have to do to make the individual cards. That's an additional $9 per sheet. So the real, final price would be $10.49 per sheet, or $1.05 per card. Now, I'm not sure whether one "cut" can span multiple sheets (

i.e., laid on top of each other), so I'll have to ask that. It's not cheap.<br><br>I've attached a sample pie chart done in Inkscape in about half an hour. I'd like feedback on the style or look of it. It looks like we'll be able to have fairly good looking graphics in the booth anyways. For those of you who don't have Inkscape, it's free (open source) software, so you can get a copy via the download link here:
