But nothing compared to the kind of heartbreak you get when the results come in and you really thought this time would be different...and the consequences of a lost referendum. </div><div><br></div><div>Since last year I've been looking at some of the research, and just like other topics everyone on our core team needs to know basic info on - PR 101, about AV, about CAs - this seemed to me like necessary info.</div><div><br></div><div>It is a bit of a longer presentation (takes about 40 minutes for me to walk through it and as it's the first time you'll see me looking at my notes...). </div><div><br></div><div>I'm going to be joined for the Q+A by Professor <a href="https://www.concordia.ca/artsci/polisci/wssr/all-guest-lecturers/lawrenceleduc.html" target="_blank">Lawrence Leduc</a>, who's an expert in referendums, citizens' assemblies and electoral reform.<br><br><font color="#000000">At 8:30 PM we'll be repeating the webinar in French, this time led by Gisela, with Jean-Sébastien Dufresne, who is on our board, joining her for Q+A. </font></div><div><font color="#000000"><br></font></div><div><font color="#000000">On a happier note, next winter or spring we'll be doing another on the power of Citizens' Assemblies!
