[fvc-wat-announce] Democracy Documentary showing: Wednesday February 15, 7 PM, Queen Street Commons Cafe

 Hello Fair Vote Canada Waterloo supporters! After a very successful film event last night, we're pleased to announce our next event: a showing of "Democracy in the New Millenium". 

Matthew and Roger Albrecht - local film makers, leaders of "Dollars and Sense" (a local grassroots group interested in promoting monetary reform) and organizers of the popular annual Non-Violence festival in Victoria Park - have created a documentary about democracy which asks questions they would like to discuss with us.... If you missed this film during Democracy Week (or want to see it again), come out to see the movie and join the discussion!

A documentary by local filmmakers, shot in Kitchener-Waterloo, which asks both ordinary people and prominent local figures: 

  a.. What democracy means to them

  b.. If they think we have a democracy now


  c.. If not, how can we achieve it?
