Hello Everyone,

Today is our Walk, Rally & Talk for Democracy event in celebration of UN
Democracy Day. At 6 p.m. walk with Craig Scott, MP for Toronto-Danforth &
NDP electoral reform critic from Kitchener City Hall to Waterloo Square.
 At 6:45 hear Craig & the ED of FVC, Anita Nickerson at the rally in
Waterloo Square.  Craig will speak about electoral reform at 7pm at First
United Church, 16 William Street (corner of King St.) in Waterloo.  Hope
you can join us for this great event.  Light refreshments will be served.

Afterward we will meet at the Duke of Wellington to carry on the
discussion.  Just a reminder to FVC members that we would like to address
two ammendments to our chapter's consitution so please join us for short
business meeting before getting back to the fun.

Two other items, don't forget that we are having an envelope stuffing
afternoon on Sunday, Sept. 22 @ 12 - 2 p.m..  Good food & a FVC tshirt are
on offer.  The location is my diningroom at 85 Westmount Road South in
Waterloo. Please let me know if you plan to attend, don't want to run short
of food!

And, we have requests from two high schools for civic class presentations
on PR.  We could use some help with them so if you could make even one
class presentation it would be really appreciated. They aren't that scary!
