Hello Fair Voters!  It's been an active month in Electoral Reform.

Earlier this week Sharon Sommerville received a letter via Kitchener
South--Hespeler MP Marwan Tabbara from Mark Holland, Parliamentary
Secretary to the Minister of Democratic Institutions (the Hon. Maryam
Monsef) acknowledging Mr. Tabbara's presentation of Fair Vote
Waterloo's petition to Parliament.

Mr. Holland re-iterated the Liberal Government's commitment to
changing the voting system, promising that the 2015 election will be
the last to be run under first-past-the-post and that winner-take-all
systems are outdated.

That letter will make an excellent topic for discussion at our next
Discussion Night. This month it will be held at The Bauer Kitchen.
