Hi everyone. I'm sure you got this in your mailbox or will very soon but we
need help now.

If you click the link and put in your province it'll bring up the phone
numbers of the Libs. Leadnow is doing this too (they have fancier
technology where you don't actually have to dial the number yourself). The
ERRE is supposed to have a draft report by tomorrow and obviously - the
only interpretation I can think of - is after four months of meetings and
weeks behind closed doors the NDP can't find any red team to play ball with
so they're forced  to reach out to the Conservatives. This is going
downhill fast. Before the government declares "oh there was no consensus"
we need to push the Liberal ERRE members to keep their promise and
negotiate PR.

The final days of negotiation by the all-party committee on electoral
reform (ERRE) have arrived. *Today, after four months of meetings, two
weeks behind closed doors, and a deadline for a draft report fast
approaching, the NDP went to the media

to announce they would consider teaming up with the Conservatives to
support a referendum.*

In the last federal election, the Liberals, NDP and Greens all promised to
implement a new voting system to replace first-past-the-post to "make every
vote count" in 2019. Why would the NDP offer to work with the Conservatives
on a referendum rather than with the Liberals on a proportional system?

*We are deeply concerned that the Liberals on the ERRE will not negotiate a
majority report for any kind of proportional representation. *

At hundreds of public meetings, a national tour by the committee and the
Minister, and months of witnesses, the committee heard from an overwhelming
majority of experts and citizens in favour of PR
