[fvc-wat-disc] Pakistan Canada Fest (Sunday), St. Jacobs Application

Sorry to have dropped the ball on this, folks. Paul, if someone else
will show up tomorrow, I can staff the "booth." I take it this is
indoors, and that we don't need to set up our gazebo?

Let me know if this is still on, and whom I would be working with, what
I would have to bring along, etc.

I support paying the $25 to attend the Pakistan Canada festival if we
can
still get into it. Paul, would you like to call and make some
inquiries? I
am out of town attending my uncle's birthday party this weekend so
unfortunately I can't help.

I also support renting a booth at least once at the St. Jacob's
market.
Given the volume of people who go through that area, I think the money
would
likely be well spent.

I did not put this on the wiki yet, but today I saw a poster for

a Pakistan Canada festival this Sunday at Kitchener City Hall. I
inquired
about a booth and they will give us one for $25.

Given that it looks like Mill Race Festival is not going to
happen, should we go for this? I vote yes (and am willing to back that
up
with my wallet if need be).

Is there anybody else who would be able to staff on Sunday? I
think the hours are from 1:30pm-5:00pm or something.

Also: I followed up on the St. Jacob's market issue. We indeed
do
not qualify for the free charity booths, because we are not charitable

enough. We can rent daily space on a per-day basis -- depending on the
day
the prices range from $30 to $46 plus table rental. It's not cheap, but
so
many people go to the market that it might be worth considering.
