[fvc-wat-disc] Upcoming event volunteering

I went to the Kitchener Tourism office and got two brochures: one
for Kitchener only and one for the entire region. There are a fair number
of festivals going on; I entered them to the wiki pretty arbitrarily.

Because the list has started to look overwhelming, here are a few
places I think we should focus our attention for now:

 	- The Conservative nomination meeting on May 31
 	- "Directions Day", a symposium being put on by the Social
Planning Council in Cambridge. The Social Planning Council is interested
in an information night as well.
 	- Multicultural Festival (if we get in -- people should sign up
for slots if they can)
 	- Canada Day at UW (I think we do need to find some family-friendly
activity in order to get in)
 	- Hillside festival (if we get in)
 	- Ribfest and Craft Beer show (July 20 -- this is pretty big)
 	- 91.5 the Beat Rocks the Block (they got 15 000 people last year!)
 	- Oktoberfest (!?)

If we can make some contacts with these festivals and see whether
we can get ourselves into a few of them, that would be great. Please sign
yourself a festival or two to see whether you can find some more
information about whether we can get in. (I expect we won't be able to
attend most of these, but it is worth a shot to ask.)

I will add events from the other brochure as well.
