Sharon and All - Mohamed Akbar, who helps co-ordinate the new Council of

(For those who haven't run into this before, it's a convention on e-mail
that if you're just *referring* to someone's e-mail address in the body of
your text, you write out the at. It's supposed to prevent spam programs
from "harvesting" e-mail addresses.  Have I got that right Kevin?  My
long-ago internet mentor:))

It was great to see Ralph Nader - now 82 - on TVO Agenda yesterday. He
founded all the PIRGs - Public Interest Research Groups - in apx 1970.  I
remember when he came to UW on his tour and launched WPIRG.  Today
unfortunately WPIRG has fallen on hard times.  I hope the community can
help it survive.
