[fvc-wat-disc] Monsef on CBC The House

That is super news Dave!  Great work!

Really hoping to be able to see the video of our town hall before you speak
with Luisa.  That will ensure we are on solid ground with the straw vote as
memories can be faulty.

One message that we can convey is that the Liberal promise was airtight,
2015 will be the last election using FPTP and the minister has been buying
wiggle room since the spring. And 63% of Cdns. voted for a party that
supports ending FPTP. The LPC was elected to lead, there is broad support
for change, to make our electoral system fair and equitable, their job is
to provide the leadership to make that happen.  Similar to the national
debate on universal medicare or the abolition of capital punishment.  There
wasn't universal support for either public policy change but the
governments of the day (Pearson & Trudeau) exercised remarkable leadership
and we are a better nation for it.

Politics does make for strange bedfellows.
