This movie is about the same year Conservative cabinet minister, Winston Churchill, was chosen to replace PM Chamberlain as United Kingdom's prime minister. Churchill said the war government had to be a coalition government. He asked Labour Party leader (1935to 1955) Clement Attlee, to joint the cabinet. You should Google his career. He's ignored by history but accomplished a great deal.
