[fvc-wat-disc] Artificial Intelligence, Polling and Politicans

Hello Everyone,

A year or so ago, the company, Advanced Symbolics & its CEO Erin Kelly was
talked about on this discussion list.  Ms. Kelly and her company used
Artificial Intelligence to predict the outcome of the 2016 US presidential
campaign and Brexit.  At the time, how they do what they do was a mystery,
to me anyway.  This article explains their use of data points across
traditional and social media to identify trends.  Their work is interesting
and may have political consequences.  Thought the methods that Advanced
Symbolics use and their outcomes might be of interest.  Here is the link:
