Hi, All,
Just confirming the info from Jay that the next meeting for FVWR discussion
group will be:
Wed. Nov. 27
7:00 pm
at St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church
at the corner of Water and Duke streets in Kitchener

I learned that someone who hasn't attended recently was unable to get into
the church when he arrived late and there was no one at the door.
Although it is difficult to have someone at the door after the meeting
begins, we will try to check the door more diligently for late arrivals.
*Also, anyone who arrives late and can't get in, may call my cell phone,
and we'll come let you in: 519 504-0090.*

*Here are notes from the meeting of 30 Oct. 2019:*

*Region Fair Vote Waterloo Discussion Group *

*Meeting notes for 30 Oct. 2019*

1. Discussion of the election results and their effect on the cause
of electoral reform.

2. Plans for visiting Waterloo Region MPs to deliver information
about Citizens’ Assemblies and encourage their support:

Marwan Tabara (Kitchener South-Hespeler): Jay Judkowitz, Corliss Olson
and David Dirks

Bardish Chaggar (Waterloo): Terry Henderson and Dave Arthur

Raj Saini (Kitchener):

Tim Louis (

Brian May (Cambridge):

3. Website: Jay offered to talk to Bob and Aden to consider ways of
getting our website back online.

4. Possibility of organizing a public event and/or a door-knocking
campaign. A strategy meeting is needed to discuss this further.

*Agenda for the meeting on Nov. 27th:*
*1. David and Jay will lead a discussion of the information in the video
'PR4PR', which can be viewed at the link in Jay's email, above.*
*2. Update on visiting MPs re: support for creating a Citizens' Assembly
to design a reformed electoral system for Canada.*
*3. Update re: restoring the website.*
*4. Other topics: *

*Please let me know if you have any other topics to add to the agenda.*

*Cathy*
