[fvc-wat-disc] An Interesting Week For PR

Hey everyone!

*WE NEED PEOPLE FROM KITCHENER CENTRE TO ATTEND A MEETING WITH RAJ ON
WEDNESDAY AT 11:30*

The idea is to assemble as large a group as possible. Think of it as the
"cure Raj of apathy" initiative - may require multiple treatments ;)

Theses visits are happening now across the country. The favourite line of
the Liberal MPs is that nobody cares about this, it's dead in the Liberal
party blah blah. We must push back (nicely, but persisently).

In this riding we've taken the optimistic step of *hoping that we can
assemble quite a few people!* (If that doesn't happen, we only look mildly
like losers :). It was one of those judgement calls - the room for 7 or the
room for 20? So we went with 20. If they could get 13 people in Toronto
Danforth and possibly 19 people in the little town of Gibsons, BC, let's
see what we can do here in Kitchener Centre. But we'll need your help!

*If you can join a meeting with Raj on Wednesday November 27 at 11:30 AM
please email me!!*

A local supporter has agreed to book a room in her condo that can fit more
than his campaign office and he is to meet us there (providing he doesn't
cancel the last minute).

If you haven't visited Raj before, and he wouldn't recognize you as one of
the key organizers of our door hanger/flyer/ad campaign, that is even
better.

If you have a spouse or friend who is supportive of this cause and might
like to attend and can spare the 30 minutes, invite them. (And let me know
who to expect and how to contact them).

Hope to hear from any of you in Kitchener Centre who can attend - feel free
to email off list.

We will be talking to Raj about why a National Citizens' Assembly on
Electoral Reform <https://nationalcitizensassembly.ca/> to take this out of
the hands of politicians a good idea :)

Anita
