I don't understand that strategy. I think if he is out in the first round your vote is wasted.

I voted for Guy Caron. Strongest PR supporter, most likely to win most seats for NDP, hence most likely to scare the PM into keeping his promise of electoral reform. I voted only for Guy Caron on the paper ballot which I've already mailed. I wanted to give him the best chance of winning, so I didn't specify other candidates who might get more votes than him in later rounds.
