[fvc-wat-disc] A letter for the Planet ... not PR but of equal importance

In the end with all the negative aspects of Tar Sands oil recovery, it's
probably best to just leave it in the ground BUT...

since the Planet's inhabitants divide Earth into countries, then we have a
problem when one country owns a dirty supply of fossil fuels (FF).

A world government would simply not use this source before we finally got
off carbon. Canada, however, wants its share of the pie as long as we
remain on FF ... what a vicious circle!!!

SO since we little guys can't really stop the operation, we have to settle
for trying to mitigate the worst dangers of recovery such as a spill in BC
coastal waters

I don't have an answer for the over use of surface waters except to keep
production as low as possible ... and that's just what the Kinder Morgan
controversy is all about.
